Objective:
To recognize 4-H members who have excelled in clothing projects and exhibit skills in application of knowledge of fibers and fabrics to wardrobe selection, clothing construction or comparison shopping, fashion interpretation and understanding of style, good grooming and poise in front of others, and modeling and presentation of themselves and their garments.

Schedule:
8:15 Agents Arrive; Unload equipment/supplies and set up registration, photography exhibit, etc.

8:45 - 9:15 Registration of volunteers, judges & category chairman

8:45 - 9:30 Textile Contest
Registration - Food Court Level 2

9:00 - 9:45 Registration of Fashion Show Contestants - Lobby of Student Center

9:00 Senior Design Contest Interviews - 3-4.1

9:00 District 10 4-H Photography exhibit set up for viewing in back of
Ballroom

9:15 - 10:00 Orientation of judges - 3-9.1

9:15 - 10:00 Orientation of category chairman - 3-10.1

9:45 - 10:00 Orientation of ALL Contestants - Ballroom

10:00 - 12:00 Judging of contestants

10:00 - 12:00 In addition to being judged, all contestants will need to practice modeling in the Ballroom.

11:00 Natural Fiber Contest Interviews 3-4.1

12:00 - 1:00 Lunch on your own

1:15 Line up for Style Show in Ballroom

1:30 Style Show Awards Presentation in the Ballroom located in the Texas State University, Lyndon B. Johnson Student Center

Entry Deadline: Registration will be conducted on 4-H Connect April 1-14, 2008. Late registration will be open April 15-17, 2008 and a late fee of $5.00 will be added to total registration.
